Event Tracking, Heatmaps, and Referral Attribution Issues in TigerData

Hi everyone, I’ve been working on my Texas Roadhouse website, and I’m running into some technical issues related to analytics and data tracking that I can’t seem to solve. I’m using TigerData to monitor performance, user behavior, and page metrics, but I’m getting inconsistent results between what TigerData shows and what Google Analytics reports. For example, TigerData shows one set of bounce rates and session times, while GA reports something quite different for the same time frame.

One of the main problems is with event tracking on menu items. I set up click events to track when visitors interact with specific dishes on the menu page, but only some events are firing. Sometimes TigerData captures the clicks perfectly, other times it misses half of them, even though I can clearly see the clicks happening when testing. I’ve checked my trigger settings multiple times, but I can’t figure out why it’s inconsistent.

Another issue is with referral traffic attribution. A large portion of my site’s traffic comes from backlinks, but TigerData sometimes labels them as “direct” instead of showing the correct referral source. This makes it really hard for me to figure out which partnerships and backlinks are actually driving traffic to my Texas Roadhouse content. Is there a known issue with referral tracking in TigerData, or do I need to adjust some settings in my dashboard?

I also noticed a strange behavior with session recordings and heatmaps. When I enable session recording on my menu and coupon pages, it doesn’t always load the full replay. Sometimes I get a few seconds of activity, and then the rest of the session is just blank even though I know the user stayed longer. This happens more often on mobile than desktop. Could it be an integration problem with Webflow (my site builder), or maybe something to do with caching/CDN?

Performance metrics are also confusing me. TigerData’s page speed insights for my homepage often show load times much higher than what I measure with Lighthouse or GTMetrix. For example, TigerData reports 7–8 seconds for first contentful paint on mobile, but Lighthouse says 3–4 seconds. Which one should I trust? Is TigerData factoring in extra tracking overhead or user location differences?

At this point, I feel like I’m missing something in the setup because I want TigerData to be my main analytics source, but I don’t know how to fix these gaps. Has anyone else here faced inconsistent event tracking, referral misattribution, or broken heatmaps on their TigerData projects? Any guidance or best practices for troubleshooting this would be super helpful.

Is there anyone who can help me with this? I am not a technical person please
